Tracking Point
Select which point on your equipment will be used for calculating offset and chainage relative to a runline or route.
The centerline
An aiding line used in the construction of infrastructure. It usually corresponds to the center of that structure./route is selected at: Operation Settings > Main Shapes > Active Route
MENU > Operation Settings > General > Tracking Point A point consists of an Easting, Northing and Elevation.
Click on the browse button [...] to select a Tracking Point from the list of defined points on the vessel/equipment:
The Chainage and Offset from the Tracking Point to the centerline/route are calculated:
