Progress Grid Model - timebased update

There are two ways the progress levels in the Progress Grid ModelClosed The Grid Model that will show the current levels in your working area. It is updated by survey updates and by your head(s) (Dredgehead, bucket, WID bar, plough, etc.) can be updated:

  • A: compare date and time of survey and Progress Grid Model in every cell and only update if the survey data is newer than the levels inside the Progress Grid Model. This is the most common method to update surveys.
  • B: overwrite all Progress levels with the survey data

Between the moment an area is surveyed and the moment that data comes to your equipment to update the Progress Grid ModelClosed A type of DTM that is made manageable through sampling measured points into a regularly spaced raster, allowing fast and conditional access. Considered to be a secondary data set; since no original points are kept.., time has passed.

The choice by which method the Progress GridClosed A type of DTM that is made manageable through sampling measured points into a regularly spaced raster, allowing fast and conditional access. Considered to be a secondary data set; since no original points are kept.. Model is updated is done by the surveyor when he prepares the update in VOSS.NET.

A: Compare Date and Time

To avoid that updates to the Progress Grid Model by the equipment head(s) like dredge head, cutter, WIDClosed Water Injection Dredger - removes (soft) sediments by injection of water in the sediments via a jet bar. bar, plough, bucket, etc. that were performed since the survey was performed, before the survey is updated in the Progress Grid Model, the date and time of survey data and Progress Grid Model is compared.

B: Don't compare Date and Time

In this case everywhere, where there is survey data, the Progress levels in the Progress Grid Model are updated.
